IX Polish Outsourcing Forum in Germany
German – Polish ICT co-operation

Following the success of Polish Outsourcing Forum in India (Bangalore) in 2013, Roadshow Polska and Pro Progressio Foundation (organization dealing with development and promotion of the outsourcing industry in Poland), under the honorary patronage of Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy Janusz Piechociński, in cooperation with the Polish Chamber of Commerce are preparing the next foreign mission to promote the Polish outsourcing sector. Patrons of the event are Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency and Association of Polish Cities.

The mission of the IX Polish Outsourcing Forum in Germany, which will take place in 24 April 2014 in Berlin (Hotel Novotel Berlin Am Tiergarten) is to present Polish IT potential to German-speaking markets. The Forum will be organized in partnership with the Deutscher Outsourcing Verband (German Outsourcing Association) and under the media patronage of Outsourcing-Journal, OutsourcingPortal and Outsourcing&More Magazine. Partners involved include DOV, the biggest outsourcing organization in Germany that has more than 500 members and Pro Progressio, an organization promoting Poland as the best outsourcing location in the world.  Thanks to the cooperation with the outsourcing media the conference and the issues discussed will reach a large audience in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland and other European countries.

The aim of the Forum is to present the potential of Poland with reference to IT outsourcing, experience in research and development processes, to present know-how collected in Polish IT Clusters and to promote entities providing broad IT services in Poland and supporting German-speaking markets.

The Forum is a one-day event during which discussion panels, presentations and networking meetings will be organized.  The Polish Outsourcing Forum in Germany is an excellent combination of content, knowledge, experience, promotion and building new international contacts. We invite representatives of Polish cities, ICT clusters, service providers, research and development institutions and other representatives of ICT and R&D sector as well as government and financial institutions to cooperate during the Forum organization.
For a few years post EU accession Roadshow Polska organized a cycle of conferences abroad promoting business in Poland and presenting specific investment opportunities to foreign entities. As a consequence we took the Forum to a number of EU countries such as Germany, United Kingdom, Portugal, Belgium, Spain.

The Polish Outsourcing Forum’ conferences have been continuously organized since 2005. Up until 2012 the Fora were organized in Poland and presented the most recent and most important issues related to the outsourcing industry in the world, gathering key personalities representing the services sector.

In 2013, for the first time the Forum was organized abroad – in India (Bangalore). The aim of the event was to present the investment potential of Poland for BPO (Business Process Outsourcing), SSC (Shared Service Centers), KPO (Knowledge Process Outsourcing), R&D (Research and Development) and ITO (IT Process Outsourcing) sectors. The conference was organized by Roadshow Polska and the Indo Polish Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IPCCI), in cooperation with expert organizations from the sector such as PwC, ASPIRE, Pro Progressio and with the support of the Polish Ministry of Economy and the Ambassadors of both countries.

The Forum organized abroad proved that there were many organizations and companies outside of Poland looking for outsourcers and providers of outsourcing services interested in Poland as a location where many modern services for business can be provided.
